Markers export!

Hi,
Firstly, I would like to thank you for implementing the Markers feature.
Can't express my happiness. Now it's easier to listen to a part of a song to play it by ear!

I don't know if others have asked for the next feature but is it possible to save the markers somehow?
One idea can be that they are exported as xml or any other file format specifically created by musicspeedchanger with the the original file's name in the same directory so even by copying files they follow along and can be used on other devices. Somehow like how srt (subtitle files) work in video players like VLC.

Regards,
PJ

  • Thank you! The markers autosave, we will consider adding an export feature in the future.
  • Any plan for this feature?

I changed my phone and lost all my markers. It feels necessary now 😉
  • I also would recommend storing markers and all other settings (speed, pitch, effects, ...) in a separate config file for every single audio file (similarly named, optional in a subfolder of the audio location). It would be easy to share settings and also accessing audio folders with different devices would keep settings and markers.
  • Hi.
It's been almost 5 years since this feature was suggested.

There have been some suggestions for the markers that I try to list them below:
    - markers being aligned to to the beat
    - editing markers by dragging them
    - naming markers

Is there any plan for implementing them or should we give up?
if not I would like to know where they are saved so hopefully I can transfer them between devices.
Are they saved in any specific folder?

    thanks a bunch :)
