Playlists contain references to the physical files, not the actual music. If you delete the music, the playlist can't play it.
You need a backup of the music to get it back.

The crackling sounds like clipping from the preamp being turned up. Use the preamp and equalizer to adjust the volume (down) and see if this fixes the noise distortion.
We are not able to replicate what you are describing and have no other reports of this issue, so it doesn't seem there is anything we can do on our end.
The numbers just mean how far the audio is shifted to the left or right, it's not really negative/positive or bad/good. So balance at -15 is the audio completely shifted to the left, balance at +15 is the audio completely shifted to the right.
Play until end is just that, play until there is nothing left to play. If you wish to loop from the last title to the first, change playback mode to play and loop. That mode will play the first track after the last track:

Ok, sometimes there are minor write errors or file formatting errors in tracks. To see if that is what is going on, turn off the preamp (for original sound volume) and save the track. Does this new copy cut off at the same point?
