I second this. For those of us using a device with only one speaker (the norm for most even high-end smartphones and tablets) who either don’t want to use earbuds or maybe only have hearing in one ear, having a simple “Balance” slider control would be very useful when used with stereo-separated part-predominate learning tracks for multi-part harmony choirs and ensembles.
Have you encountered those before? Your voice or instrument part is full volume and panned 100% fully left (or right in Europe to match which speaker is on the driver’s side in an automobile sound system), while the other parts are about half volume and panned 100% fully right (or left in Europe).
This way, when first learning you're part in the song, you can either use a Balance control if available to full left or yank out the right earbud if using those so you hear only your own part, then set Balance to normal to hear how your part blends with the others, and finally, when you think you have it down past and want to test yourself, set Balance to full right or yank of the left earbud to hear only the other parts so you can sing along with them without hearing your part from the track!
To help test this feature, you can find lots of short stereo-separated learning tracks at Barbershop Tags.
We are already working on the equalizer with preamp and balance control. It's going to be awesome you will be able to embed some or all of the components in the main player screen or view them in a separate screen.
