Battery drain in Stand-by

Thanks for this great app. I am using it on a regular base for transcribing audio and rehearsing music with the piano /guitar.

I have a elevated battery drain whenever I have used the app even when its only in the background. I have a Galaxy S7 and the OS (Nougat 7.0) alerts me regularily that the app is draining the battery (it is as much as 1,5% of battery capacity per hour - that makes about 20% per average day - quite a bit!

Of course I can manually shut down the app after usage but I wager you can solve the behaviour within the apps code....

    It's a known issue where it will use slight CPU and hold a wakelock when the notification is visible and playback is paused from the notification. It is more likely to be killed by the system at this point but it might last for awhile. So it is a good idea to press the Stop button or swipe it away when you're done if you're using it the background. We will looking at a way to address this in the next updates.
